We miss photographing Weddings but we sure had a lot of fun with this pretend Wedding with our pets.First and foremost we are hoping everyone is keeping safe and self-isolating. We most certainly are! We are considered a non-essential business, so we are not working, but that won't stop our inspiration (see our at-home pretend Wedding with our dogs below). Secondly, our heart goes out to the hundreds, the thousands of brides and grooms that are in the midst of this crazy thing called COVID-19. Like you, we have never experienced something like this! It's scary, it's different, it's not what we are used to. But please don't let this stop you from having fun, taking the opportunity to set some daily goals and perhaps get a little creative. We miss photographing Weddings! We really do! But it's important to stay safe and follow the Canadian and Ontario guidelines. We also think it's important to perhaps think about re-scheduling your Wedding to next year, and don't be afraid to do that. I know it must really suck, but it's important to look at the big picture here: no one wants to put anyone at risk, especially seniors and those who are chronically ill or those who may have a lower immune system than the rest of us. A gathering should be fun and not scary. I'm sure your guests will appreciate a new save-the-date. So we miss documenting Weddings so much, here is our silly little Wedding-inspired at-home indoor puppy Wedding! All three dogs had an important role. Diesel was the minister, Chloe was the Bride and Mya stepped in as the Groom. We had fun just clowning around. You know what? The time photographing our dogs was enjoyable, the time was well spent. Our thoughts were on something fun instead of dwelling on the negative aspects of the quarantine. We had a giggle or two as the dogs continuously stole cookies. Diesel is only one and half and was well behaved, surprisingly! His listening skills have improved as he's known as the rambunctious little king around here. Mya is our eldest at 9 years old and well no one can be Mya, she's the best. Chloe is 7 years old, our rescue dog, and she's so photogenic with those big brown eyes. All our dog cookies were shipped to us by Petsmart and Walmart. We are grateful for this. We also want to take the time to say thank you to all our essential workers, doctors, nurses and other hospital staff working on the frontline. But also to grocery clerks, transportation drivers, delivery drivers, farmers, factory workers and so many other people who are working around the clock to keep us safe. I'm sure you have heard this countless times, stay home, stay safe, be kind. We hope you can find some comfort in these fun photos and we hope that you can stay focused on a positive outlook. We also hope you have the opportunity to come up with a new Wedding plan and also find the opportunity to do the things that you were perhaps too busy to do before all this. We wish everyone health and happiness during this time. Mike and Cecilia XOXO Ceremony Diesel Introducing the Newlyweds! Sealed with a Kiss! Details!
