What an amazing time I had photographing Anna's Bridal shower. It was a tea-themed bridal shower.  Anna had spent months planning her Wedding Shower searching for beautiful teapots.  No two teapots were alike, each unique and elegantly displayed on guest tables, adorned with pearls.
 
Fontana Primavera is an elegant banquet hall, with bright windows cascading in beautiful natural light. The guests arrived to greet Anna, mingling and munching on a variety of appetizers. What seemed very popular was the pink punch drink served in elegant flute glasses. It was amazing to see Anna's dessert table adorning not only her gorgeous bridal shower cake, but endless amounts of desserts!
 
Lyndsey, the maid of honour, announced Anna and welcomed the guests and then it was fun, fun, fun after that! The guests definitely participated in the fun and games. In fact, there was one point where Diana, one of the lovely bridesmaids hosting a game, was bombarded by eager women hoping to win a prize!  Quinn, the adorable flower girl, was always by Anna's side adorning a happy smile. And Kaya, one of the guests, was the winner of the toilet-paper bride game.  Oh and we can't forget the bubble gum-chewing game, where Anna & her guests found out a few fun & strange facts about Peter!! In fact, there was one moment where Anna just about swallowed that large wad of gum in her mouth!
 
The Fontana Primavera in Vaughan, Ontario is a great place to host such an event. It's amazing to see all the details that add up to an event and I was so happy to photograph Anna's bridal shower. It's always nice to see guests enjoying the day. Then there is that moment when the "Man" enters the room and all eyes are on him. Anna's face certainly lit up when she saw Peter enter the room with two large bouquets of flowers, one for Anna's mother and one for Anna. How romantic! And then the two lovebirds stole away for a few moments to be alone. ;)
 
It's exactly 51 days before one of our beautiful clients gets married. I have tears in my eyes because I'm so happy, and I'm so touched that we have built a beautiful relationship over this past year. Anna & Peter are stellar. We get to know our clients so well, conversing, laughing, and building a relationship so that it's very touching when their Big Day is only days away!  We met Anna & Peter recently to go over a few more details before their Wedding, and Mike and I discussed how excited we are to capture their day. We can't wait to see these two shine on their special day! Let the countdown begin!!!
